Novo patch de Dark Souls II irá desabilitar a cura no PvP, mudanças em equipamentos e mais

A Bandai Namco divulgou no site oficial uma extensa lista de correções no Dark Souls II, game lançado recentemente para PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 e PC (que saiu posteriormente). O patch será disponibilizado no dia 18 de julho e das correções principais a mais intrigante é a trava de ítens de cura durante o PvP. Atualmente o host da sala e os companheiros de co-op conseguem usar os Estus Flasks algumas vezes, mas tem horas que essa parte é travada quando acontece um combate de PvP com algum invasor, e no novo patch essa mamata será eliminada.

Eles também divulgaram que vão aumentar o alcance do online, possibilitando que mais jogadores tenham mais chance de encontrar mais pessoas nas partidas, corrigindo uma das minhas reclamações anteriores, já que quando o jogador termina a progressão básica (sem passar pro New Game+) o alcance do jogador se torna menor por conta do Soul Memory, e nas progressões seguintes fica ainda pior, mal encontrando gente pra jogar co-op e se tornando uma atividade mais solitária e desafiadora. Pois convenhamos: co-op deixa as lutas contra os chefes mais fáceis do que o normal, apesar do co-op ser um dos melhores pontos da série!

Eles também vão alterar o dano anormal de diversas armas e a durabilidade e defesa de diversos equipamentos (como os sets Havel’s Armor Set, Steel Armor Set, e outros), aumentar o dano de ataques especiais das armas Bandit’s Knife e Manikin Knife e aumentar o poder de ataque de diversas armas, como a Chaos Blade, Battle Axe, Notched Whip, Sorcerer’s Staff, entre outras. Também será diminuído o poder de ataque de outras armas, como a Drangleic Sword (ferrou!), Defender Greatsword, Large Club (somente o ataque mais forte, com o R2 no PS3, por exemplo), Pickaxe (somente o ataque mais forte), Great Club (somente o ataque mais forte) e o Gyrm Great Hammer (somente o ataque mais forte). Algumas Magias, Hexes, Piromancias e milagres também terão o consumo de stamina menor, como a Soul Bolt, Soul Shower, Fire Orb, Great Fireball, Great Chaos Fireball, Lingering Flame e Iron Flesh. Já a magias Cast Light e o milagre Unveil ficarão mais poderosas.

Outras magias e Hexes terão menos unidades para usar, como a Lightning Spear, Great Lightning Spear, Sunlight Spear, Emit Force, Soul Appease, Great Resonant Soul e Profound Still. A Sunlight Spear acaba sendo um pouco preocupante, já que ela só pode ser adquirida uma vez no save do personagem (por ser o prêmio máximo da Covenant Heirs of The Sun) e quando eu peguei ela só tinha 3 usos. Diminuir ainda mais é mais complicado, mesmo no patch ter citado que esse milagre (e os milagres Lightning Spear, Great Lightning Spear, Sunlight Spear e Emit Force) ficarem mais fortes. Mas como a minha build faith/warrior é baseada na Great Lightning Spear e na Lightning Spear clássica (praticamente abandonei o uso de armas normais pra usar apenas os milagres, por causarem mais dano e atacar a distância), manter a Sunlight acaba sendo mais um desperdício de espaço, mesmo ela sendo a mais forte das 3.

of the refinements to gameplay that will be made with the next Version and Regulation File update.
The online server will go into Maintenance Mode on Friday, July 18th following this schedule:
– PlayStation3 & STEAM versions:7/18 7:00 to 10:00AM GMT
– Xbox 360:7/18 7:00 to 11:00AM GMT
When the online server goes back online, all Versions and Regulation Files will be updated.
Once users have downloaded and installed the updates, you will see the following displayed in the upper
right corner of the Title Screen:

– STEAM Ver: 1.04 Regulation: 1.08
The following is a list of bug fixes, changes and refinements to gameplay included in the Version update:
• Fixed abnormal amounts of damage being caused by certain weapons
• An upper limit has been set to the number of Souls a player can earn when fighting off invading players
• Fixed the phenomenon where the player is not able to talk to Licia of Lindeldt
• Fixed the progression-stopping phenomenon at Heide’s Tower when the host falls off right before the Dragonrider Boss Fight
• Fixed the phenomenon in Majula where the door does not open even after moved by Licia of Lindeldt
• Fixed the progression-stopping phenomenon when the player talks to Laddersmith Gilligan in Earthen Peak
• Fixed the phenomenon when the poison pond does not disappear when the windmill is burned down and immobilized
• Fixed the phenomenon when that the poison pond returns after the windmill is burned down and immobilized, and the player is
summoned into another world as a Blue Savior then returned to their own world
• Fixed the loading screen issue when you lose a deathmatch in the Undead Purgatory

• Fixed the phenomenon where items do not disappear from inventory if they are thrown away while they are also being used

• Fixed the phenomenon where sound effects volume does not comply with the optional settings during the fight with the Looking Glass Knight
• Fixed the jumping shortcut at the Shrine of Winter
• Fixed the phenomenon where a summoning signature can be written near a bonfire in Belfry Sol Approach
• Fixed the phenomenon where the floor trap in the Iron Keep is displayed differently on host and client worlds during multi-play

• Adjustments were made so players can get out of the continuous attacks from Syan’s Halberd

• Fixed the phenomenon where a heavy attack while holding Pate’s Spear with both hands produces only one hit

    Eu já platinei o meu, e acredito que as espadas feitas com almas de boss deveriam tem um dano inicial maior e quando +5 com osso petrificado de dragão deveriam dar um dano realmente considerável contra inimigos, por exemplo minha espada larga +10 dá 275 de dano e consigo dar 7 hits com ela, já a minha espada do dragão guardião +5 dá 400 mas só consigo dar 3 hits por barra de estamina, já o pvp é uma piada de tão desparelho que é, mesmo eu no level 275 com 4 milhões de souls sobrando não upo o personagem por que não muda mais nada depois de alguns niveis tem que gastar 5 leveis pra subir 1 ponto de ataque ou qualquer coisa.

    1. Essa parte é tensa. Eu parei de jogar quanto platinei também, mas deixei o game instalado no PS3 por conta dos DLCs que eles irão lançar no final do mês, com o primeiro saindo agora (e os outros 2 pacotes em agosto e setembro). Ando pensando em pegar no PC e começar tudo novamente, mas ando cogitando as possibilidades.

  2. Pra mim não vai mudar muita coisa, já que sou um dual swordman , e luto com duas espadas longas +10 (Fogo e Raio), e como arma secundária utilizo o arco do dragão. No caso vai melhor pras batalhas online, já que muitos dos meus adversários (os magos especialmente) usam essas armas que terão o poder reduzido.

  3. Muito bom o post, resumiu bem aquela (imensa) lista. Discordo quando você fala que não teria muita interação online após a segunda jornada (new game + em diante). Já estou há um bom tempo no NG+ (não quis ir pra 3ª jornada ainda), atualmente no nível 270, e em praticamente todos os mapas tive opção de chamar alguem pra co-op e o pvp ainda funciona bem. Sempre tem duelos na ponte de Iron Keep e Heide’s Tower. Bell Keeper’s também funciona bem. A única coisa que demora um pouco é a arena, que na primeira jornada era instantânea a conexão, e agora demora alguns segundos.
    Uma coisa que eu acho que eles poderiam implementar é um sistema que você possa consultar online as estatísticas dos jogadores e também um ranking. Tipo, ranking da arena Brotherhood of blood, do blue sentinels, de invasões, de duelos. Talvez um NPC pra consultar os rankings direto no jogo ia ser bacana, mas isso seria um plus…
    Outra coisa, mais importante, seria informar como está a lotação do servidor (high, medium, low) em cada jornada/tier de soul memory. Muita gente fica com medo, e eu me incluo nessa turma, de iniciar nova jornada, ou ganhar mais almas e ficar de fora das interações online. As vezes nem é tão ruim assim, às vezes tem até mais players do que no estágio atual que você está, mas, quem vai arriscar, já que não dá pra voltar atras? Isso acaba travando um pouco o jogo.
    Curti esse patch, no geral parece que o jogo vai ficar melhor. Vamos ver…
