For those venturing into the game “The Forge”, recently released in beta, we’ve gathered here some interesting information and details from the official wiki! Remember, you can check out new codes by clicking here.
Weapons
Weapons are the most important tool for the Blacksmith to obtain essences. Blacksmiths need to forge a weapon when starting the tutorial, unless they skip that step.
- Weapons are created by feeding the furnace with ores and then shaping the result into a random weapon of the chosen type.
- Each forge has the potential to produce either a common tool or a masterpiece.
- Every weapon has its own combination of Damage, Attack Speed, Quality, and Attack Range.
- Upgrades and runes can drastically change how a weapon behaves and feels.
- Different weapon types (Daggers, Straight Swords, Katanas, Greatswords, Battle Axes, Colossal Swords, Gauntlets) define your combat style.
Armor
Armor is the most important tool for the Blacksmith to defend and resist against enemies in the Forge. You can forge armor by melting ores and selecting the armor option.
- Currently, there are 12 pieces of armor divided into three categories: Light Armor, Medium Armor, and Heavy Armor.
- Armor defines how hard you are to kill and how reliably you can maintain aggro for your group.
- Each type of armor has its own identity of Health, Chance (rarity), and Base Price.
Enemies
Enemies are hostile creatures that roam the world of the Forge. They lock onto nearby Blacksmiths, chase, and attack until the target flees or falls.
- When defeated, they may drop valuable loot and essences.
- Armor, positioning, and timing are key to surviving tougher enemies.
- Enemy attributes scale according to the depth of the location and the overall threat level.
- Defeating higher-threat enemies rewards more gold, EXP, and rare items.
Locations
Locations are the different areas that make up the world of The Forge. Each has its own layout, NPCs, shops, flowers, and enemies.
- Starting hubs focus on forging and learning the basics, while deeper regions raise risks and rewards to much higher levels.
- Generally, areas combine a forge hub, shops, service NPCs, and routes leading to more dangerous mining and combat zones.
- This page provides an overview of the main areas and what players can do in each.
